Terms of Use

1. Purpose of Mohaajir

Mohaajir is a free community platform that, in particular, allows you to:

• create a profile;
• find other members;
• make friends;
• exchange messages;
• take part in forums;
• publish information;
• search for professionals;
• present businesses;
• publish job advertisements;
• publish transport requests or offers;
• publish events and community information.

2. Free of charge

General use of Mohaajir is free of charge. Mohaajir currently charges:

• no subscription;
• no registration fee;
• no commission on transactions between users;
• no payment for using the forum;
• no payment for the chat;
• no payment for the member search.

You will be informed appropriately of any material changes to the business model; where necessary, new terms will then apply.

3. Creating an account

Registration is only possible for persons aged 16 or older.

You must provide truthful information where it is requested. It is prohibited to:

• create an account to deceive others;
• impersonate another person;
• intentionally provide false information in order to commit fraud;
• create accounts to harass or deceive users.

4. User responsibility

Each user is responsible for the content, information, listings and messages they publish. Users must comply with applicable laws.

5. Prohibited content

The following are prohibited in particular:

• fraud;
• scams;
• identity theft;
• threats;
• harassment;
• unlawful defamation;
• unlawful content;
• misleading advertising;
• forged documents;
• malware;
• spam;
• content that infringes copyright;
• content that infringes the rights of third parties;
• offers of products or services prohibited by law.

6. Moderation

Mohaajir may take action against content that violates the rules or the law. Depending on the situation, this may include:

• removal of content;
• restriction of its visibility;
• a warning;
• a temporary suspension;
• blocking of the account;
• deletion of the account;
• disclosure of information to authorities where required by law.

If action is taken, the person concerned will be informed of the decision and its reasons (the rule breached or the legal basis). They may object to the decision by email to admin@mohaajir.com. Anyone who reported content will be informed of the outcome of their report.

7. Accuracy of information

Mohaajir does not guarantee that the information published by users is accurate. You must verify important information yourself before making a decision.

8. Relationships between users

Mohaajir enables users to get in touch with each other. Mohaajir is generally not a party to agreements that users make directly with each other.

Users are responsible for their own relationships, contracts, appointments, purchases, sales, transports or services.

9. Professionals

A listing as a professional on Mohaajir does not automatically mean that Mohaajir guarantees:

• their qualifications;
• their experience;
• a licence;
• their authorisation to practise;
• insurance;
• their solvency;
• the quality of the service.

If a listing is marked as verified, this refers exclusively to the checks actually carried out by Mohaajir. See Professionals.

10. Transport

Mohaajir allows users to publish transport offers and requests. Mohaajir is not automatically:

• a carrier;
• the owner of the goods;
• an insurer;
• a freight forwarder;
• a seller;
• a buyer.

Before any transport, you must check permits, insurance, customs documents and applicable regulations. See Transport.

11. Availability

Mohaajir may be temporarily unavailable, in particular due to:

• maintenance work;
• technical problems;
• outages;
• hosting problems;
• network problems;
• security incidents;
• circumstances beyond our control.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Mohaajir is not liable for inaccurate information published by users or for actions that take place directly between users.

No provision of these terms is intended to exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted by law. See Liability.

13. External links

Mohaajir may contain links to third-party websites. We do not necessarily control these websites and are not responsible for their content or policies.

14. Intellectual property

The name, logo, design, code and elements created specifically for Mohaajir may be protected by applicable law.

You may not publish content that you are not entitled to use. See Copyright.

15. Suspension and deletion

Mohaajir may block or delete an account where necessary, in particular in cases of:

• breach of the terms;
• fraudulent use;
• endangering security;
• publication of unlawful content;
• identity theft;
• abusive use of the platform.

16. Changes to the terms

The terms may be amended if features or legal obligations change. The version published on the website applies in each case.

17. Applicable law

Mandatory provisions for the protection of consumers or users remain unaffected.

These terms are interpreted in accordance with the law applicable at the operator's registered place of business, subject to mandatory provisions.
